5On vint dire à David ce qui leur était arrivé, et il envoya des gens à leur rencontre ; car ils étaient cruellement déshonorés, et il leur dit : Demeurez à Jéricho jusqu'à ce que votre barbe ait repoussé ; puis, alors vous reviendrez.

5Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them: for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.
