5Cuando algunos fueron y le contaron a David lo que les había sucedido a aquellos hombres, él envió emisarios a recibirlos, porque estaban sumamente avergonzados. El rey les dijo: «Quedaos en Jericó hasta que os crezca la barba, y entonces regresad.»

5Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them: for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.
