17Dies ward David gemeldet. Da bot er ganz Israel auf, überschritt den Jordan, zog gegen sie und stellte sich ihnen zum Kampf. David stellte sich also gegen die Aramäer zum Kampfe auf, und sie stritten mit ihm.

17Luego que fué dado aviso á David, juntó á todo Israel, y pasando el Jordán vino á ellos, y ordenó contra ellos su ejército. Y como David hubo ordenado su tropa contra ellos, pelearon con él los Siros.

17And it was told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him.
