Parimente Banaia figliuolo di Joiada aveva il comando delle legioni di Cerethi, e di Phelethi: e i figliuoli di David erano i primi al fianco del re. Hanon re degli Ammoniti fa oltraggio ai servi di David, mandati per consolarlo nella morte del padre. Davidde lo assalisce, e lo vince insieme coi Siri, che erano in suo aiuto.

Y Benaías hijo de Joiada era sobre los Ceretheos y Peletheos; y los hijos de David eran los príncipes cerca del rey.
