Davidde essendo fermo in sua casa, disse a Nathan profeta: Ecco, che io abito in una casa di cedro: e l'arca del testamento del Signore sta sotto le pelli.
Y ACONTECIÓ que morando David en su casa, dijo David al profeta Nathán: He aquí yo habito en casa de cedro, y el arca del pacto de Jehová debajo de cortinas.
Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.
When David was living in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, “Behold, I live in a cedar house, but the ark of the LORD’s covenant is in a tent.”
E Nathan disse a Davidde: Fa tutto quello, che il cuor t'ispira: perocché il Signore è con te.
Y Nathán dijo á David: Haz todo lo que está en tu corazón, porque Dios es contigo.
Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.
Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart; for God is with you.”
Ma quella stessa notte Dio parlò a Nathan, e disse:
En aquella misma noche fué palabra de Dios á Nathán, diciendo:
And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
That same night, the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
Va, e di a Davidde mio servo: Queste cose dice il Signore: Tu non edificherai la casa di mia abitazione.
Ve y di á David mi siervo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Tú no me edificarás casa en que habite:
Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:
“Go and tell David my servant, ‘The LORD says, “You shall not build me a house to dwell in;
Imperocché io non ho mai avuto casa dal dì, in cui trassi Israele (fuor dell'Egitto), sino a questo giorno: ma andai sempre cangiando il luogo di mia residenza, e standomi sotto una tenda con tutto Israele.
Porque no he habitado en casa alguna desde el día que saqué á los hijos de Israel hasta hoy; antes estuve de tienda en tienda, y de tabernáculo en tabernáculo.
For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.

Ho io parlato giammai ad alcuno de' giudici a Israele, ai quali diedi incombenza di governare il mio popolo, e gli ho io detto: Perchè non mi avete voi fatta una casa di cedro?
En todo cuanto anduve con todo Israel ¿hablé una palabra á alguno de los jueces de Israel, á los cuales mandé que apacentasen mi pueblo, para decirles: Por qué no me edificáis una casa de cedro?
Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?
In all places in which I have walked with all Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people, saying, ‘Why have you not built me a house of cedar?’”’
Adesso adunque tu dirai a Davidde mio servo: Queste cose dice il Signore degli eserciti: Io ti elessi, allorché tu menavi al pascolo il gregge, per farti condottiere del popol mio d'Israele.
Por tanto, ahora dirás á mi siervo David: Así dijo Jehová de los ejércitos: Yo te tomé de la majada, de detrás del ganado, para que fueses príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel;
Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:
“Now therefore, you shall tell my servant David, ‘The LORD of Armies says, “I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people Israel.
E sono stato con te in tutti i tuoi passi: e ho distrutti tutti i tuoi nemici dinanzi a te, e ti ho dato rinomanza quale può averla uno de' grandi, che son famosi sulla terra.
Y he sido contigo en todo cuanto has andado, y he talado á todos tus enemigos de delante de ti, y hete hecho grande nombre, como el nombre de los grandes que son en la tierra.
And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a name like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.
E io ho assegnato abitazione al mio popolo d'Israele: ivi egli è piantato, e vi resterà, e non saranne staccato mai più: e i figliuoli d'iniquità non lo opprimeranno, come una volta.
Asimismo he dispuesto lugar á mi pueblo Israel, y lo he plantado para que habite por sí, y que no sea más conmovido: ni los hijos de iniquidad lo consumirán más, como antes,
Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,
I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more. The children of wickedness will not waste them any more, as at the first,
Da quel tempo, in cui io diedi de' giudici al popol mio d'Israele, e umiliai tutti i tuoi nemici. Io adunque ti fo da sapere, che il Signore fonderà stabile la tua casa.
Y desde el tiempo que puse los jueces sobre mi pueblo Israel; mas humillaré á todos tus enemigos. Hágote además saber que Jehová te ha de edificar casa.
And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house.
and from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover I tell you that the LORD will build you a house.
E quando, compiuti i tuoi giorni, tu sarai andato a riunirti co' padri tuoi, Dio farà sorgere dopo di te uno di tua stirpe, il quale sarà de' tuoi discendenti, e darò a lui un regno perenne.
Y será que, cuando tus días fueren cumplidos para irte con tus padres, levantaré tu simiente después de ti, la cual será de tus hijos, y afirmaré su reino.
And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
It will happen, when your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your offspring after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.
Egli mi edificherà una casa, e io farò stabile il suo trono in eterno.
El me edificará casa, y yo confirmaré su trono eternalmente.

Io sarogli padre, ed ei sarammi figliuolo: e non sottrarrò a lui la mia misericordia, come la sottrassi a colui che fu prima di te.
Yo le seré por padre, y él me será por hijo: y no quitaré de él mi misericordia, como la quité de aquel que fué antes de ti;
I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:
I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will not take my loving kindness away from him, as I took it from him who was before you;
E io gli darò il governo della mia casa, e del mio regno in eterno: e immobile sarà il suo trono in perpetuo.
Mas yo lo confirmaré en mi casa y en mi reino eternalmente; y su trono será firme para siempre.
But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.
but I will settle him in my house and in my kingdom forever. His throne will be established forever.”’”
Nathan espose a Davidde tutte queste parole, e tutta questa visione.
Conforme á todas estas palabras, y conforme á toda esta visión, así habló Nathán á David.
According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

Ed essendo il re Davidde andato dinanzi al Signore, e postosi a sedere, disse: Chi son io, o Signore Dio, e che è la mia casa, onde tu dovessi far cose tali per me?
Y entró el rey David, y estuvo delante de Jehová, y dijo: Jehová Dios, ¿quién soy yo, y cuál es mi casa, que me has traído hasta este lugar?
And David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
Then David the king went in and sat before the LORD; and he said, “Who am I, LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
Ma questo è paruto ancor poco a te; e per questo hai parlato intorno alla casa del tuo servo, anche pe' tempi avvenire: e mi hai renduto stimabile sopra tutti gli uomini, Signore Dio,
Y aun esto, oh Dios, te ha parecido poco, pues que has hablado de la casa de tu siervo para más lejos, y me has mirado como á un hombre excelente, oh Jehová Dios.
And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
This was a small thing in your eyes, O God, but you have spoken of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have respected me according to the standard of a man of high degree, LORD God.
Che può egli chiedere di più Davidde, avendo tu glorificato a tal segno il tuo servo, e mostratogli il tuo affetto?
¿Qué más puede añadir David pidiendo de ti para glorificar á tu siervo? mas tú conoces á tu siervo.
What can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.
What can David say yet more to you concerning the honor which is done to your servant? For you know your servant.
Signore, tu per amor del tuo servo, secondo il tuo beneplacito, hai agito con tanta magnificenza, e hai voluto, che fossero note (a lui) tutte queste meraviglie.
Oh Jehová, por amor de tu siervo y según tu corazón, has hecho toda esta grandeza, para hacer notorias todas tus grandezas.
O LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
LORD, for your servant’s sake, and according to your own heart, you have done all this greatness, to make known all these great things.
Signore, non havvi simile a te; né altro Dio vi è fuori di te tra tutti quelli, de' quali abbiam sentito parlare.
Jehová, no hay semejante á ti, ni hay Dios sino tú, según todas las cosas que hemos oído con nuestros oídos.
O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
LORD, there is no one like you, neither is there any God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Perocché qual altro popolo è egli come il tuo d'Israele, nazione unica sopra la terra, per cui liberare si mosse Dio, e per farla suo popolo, discacciando colla sua possanza, e co' terrori le genti dinanzi a questo popolo liberato da lui dall'Egitto?
¿Y qué gente hay en la tierra como tu pueblo Israel, cuyo Dios fuese y se redimiera un pueblo, para hacerte nombre con grandezas y maravillas, echando las gentes de delante de tu pueblo, que tú rescataste de Egipto?
And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?
What one nation in the earth is like your people Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, to make you a name by great and awesome things, in driving out nations from before your people whom you redeemed out of Egypt?
E per tuo popolo eleggesti in sempiterno Israele, e tu, Signore divenisti suo Dio.
Tú has constituído á tu pueblo Israel por pueblo tuyo para siempre; y tú, Jehová, has venido á ser su Dios.
For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God.
For you made your people Israel your own people forever; and you, LORD, became their God.
Adesso adunque, o Signore, confermata sia in perpetuo la parola annunziata da te riguardo al tuo servo, e riguardo alla sua casa; e fa tu quello, che hai detto:
Ahora pues, Jehová, la palabra que has hablado acerca de tu siervo y de su casa, sea firme para siempre, y haz como has dicho.
Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said.
Now, LORD, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, be established forever, and do as you have spoken.
E ne segua l'effetto, affinchè sia magnificato il tuo nome in perpetuo, e si dica: Il Signore degli eserciti (egli è) il Dio d'Israele, e la casa di David suo servo si mantiene dinanzi a lui.
Permanezca pues, y sea engrandecido tu nombre para siempre, á fin de que se diga: Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, es Dios para Israel. Y sea la casa de tu siervo David firme delante de ti.
Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee.
Let your name be established and magnified forever, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel. The house of David your servant is established before you.’
Perocché tu, o Signore Dio mio, hai rivelato al tuo servo di volere fondare la sua casa: e per questo il tuo servo ha avuta fidanza di fare questa preghiera dinanzi a te.
Porque tú, Dios mío, revelaste al oído á tu siervo que le has de edificar casa; por eso ha hallado tu siervo motivo de orar delante de ti.
For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee.
For you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build him a house. Therefore your servant has found courage to pray before you.
Adesso adunque, o Signore, tu se', Dio, e hai annunziati favori sì grandi, al tuo servo.
Ahora pues, Jehová, tú eres el Dios que has hablado de tu siervo este bien;
And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
Now, LORD, you are God, and have promised this good thing to your servant.
E hai principiato a benedire la casa del servo tuo, affinchè ella si mantenga per sempre dinanzi a te: perocché benedicendola tu, o Signore, sarà ella benedetta in perpetuo. Guerre fatte da Davidde: tributi imposti alle genti: suoi uffiziali.
Y ahora has querido bendecir la casa de tu siervo, para que permanezca perpetuamente delante de ti: porque tú, Jehová, la has bendecido, y será bendita para siempre.
Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever.
Now it has pleased you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, LORD, have blessed, and it is blessed forever.”
