1 Crónicas 15

David construyó casas para si mismo en la ciudad de David. Él preparó un lugar para el arca de Dios y levantó una tienda para ella.

HIZO también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y tendióle una tienda.

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

David made himself houses in David’s city; and he prepared a place for God’s ark, and pitched a tent for it.

Entonces David dijo: "Sólo los levitas pueden cargar el arca de Dios porque ellos han sido escogidos por el SEÑOR para cargar el arca del SEÑOR y para servirle a Él por siempre."

Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los Levitas; porque á ellos ha elegido Jehová para que lleven el arca de Jehová, y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Then David said, “No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For the LORD has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”

Entonces David reunió a todo Israel en Jerusalén para subir el arca del SEÑOR al lugar que él había preparado para ella.

Y juntó David á todo Israel en Jerusalem, para que pasasen el arca de Jehová á su lugar, el cual le había él preparado.

And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

Desde los descendientes de Coat estaba Uriel, el líder, y sus parientes, 120 hombres.

De los descendientes de Merari estaba Asaías, el líder, y sus parientes, 220 hombres.

De los descendientes de Gersón estaba Joel, el líder, y sus parientes, 130 hombres.

De los descendientes de Hebrón estaba Eliel, el líder, y sus parientes, ochenta hombres.

De los descendientes de Uziel estaba Aminadab, el líder, y sus parientes, 112 hombres.

David llamó a Sadoc y Abiatar, los sacerdotes; y a los levitas Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semaías, Eliel y Aminadab.

Y llamó David á Sadoc y á Abiathar, sacerdotes, y á los Levitas, Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semeías, Eliel, y Aminadab;

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

Él les dijo: "Ustedes son los líderes de las familias levitas. Santifíquense a sí mismos, a ustedes y sus hermanos, para que puedan subir el arca del SEÑOR, el Dios de Israel, al lugar que yo le he preparado a ella.

Y díjoles: Vosotros que sois los principales de padres entre los Levitas, santificaos, vosotros y vuestros hermanos, y pasad el arca de Jehová Dios de Israel al lugar que le he preparado;

And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

Ustedes no la cargaron la primera vez. Por eso fue que el SEÑOR estalló contra nosostros, porque nosotros no lo buscamos a Él ni obedecimos su decreto."

Pues por no haberlo hecho así vosotros la primera vez, Jehová nuestro Dios hizo en nosotros rotura, por cuanto no le buscamos según la ordenanza.

For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

For because you didn’t carry it at first, the LORD our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”

Así que los sacerdotes y los levitas se consagraron a sí mismos para poder subir el arca del SEÑOR, el Dios de Israel.

So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

Entonces los levitas cargaron el arca de Dios con las barras sobre sus hombros, como Moisés había ordenado-- siguiendo las reglas dadas por la palabra del SEÑOR.

Y los hijos de los Levitas trajeron el arca de Dios puesta sobre sus hombros en las barras, como lo había mandado Moisés conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.

David habló a los líderes de los levitas para asignarle a sus hermanos que fueran músicos con instrumentos músicales, intrumentos de cuerda, harpas y címbalos, tocando en voz alta y levantando sus voces con alegría.

Asimismo dijo David á los principales de los Levitas, que constituyesen de sus hermanos cantores, con instrumentos de música, con salterios, y arpas, y címbalos, que resonasen, y alzasen la voz con alegría.

And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

Entonces los levitas nombraron a Hemán, hijo de Joel, y a uno de sus hermanos, Asaf, hijo de Berequías. Ellos también nombraron parientes de los descendientes de Merari y Etán, hijo de Cusaías.

Y los Levitas constituyeron á Hemán hijo de Joel; y de sus hermanos, á Asaph hijo de Berechîas; y de los hijos de Merari y de sus hermanos, á Ethán hijo de Cusaías;

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

Con ellos estaban sus parientes de segundo rango: Zacarías, Jaazielm Semiramot, Jehiel, Uni, Eliab, Benaía, Maasías, Matatías, Elifelehu, Micnías, Obed Edom y Jeiel, los guardianes.

Y con ellos á sus hermanos del segundo orden, á Zachârías, Ben y Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaías, Maasías, y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, y Jehiel, los porteros.

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters.

and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

Los músicos Hemán, Asaf y Etán fueron ordenados que tocaran en voz alta címbalos de bronze.

Así Hemán, Asaph, y Ethán, que eran cantores, sonaban con címbalos de metal.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were given cymbals of bronze to sound aloud;

Zacarías, Aziel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Uni, Eliab, Maasías, Benaía tocaron los instrumentos de cuerda, preparados para Alamot.

Y Zachârías, Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maasías, y Benaías, con salterios sobre Alamoth.

And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

Matatías, Elifelehu, Micnías, Obed Edom, Jeiel y Azazías dirijieron el camino con las arpas preparadas para Seminit.

Y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Azazías, cantaban con arpas en la octava sobresaliendo.

And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

Quenaías, líder de los levitas, él era el director de canto porque era maestro de música.

Y Chênanías, principal de los Levitas, estaba para la entonación; pues él presidía en el canto, porque era entendido.

And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

Berequías y Elcana eran guardianes del arca.

Y Berechîas y Elcana eran porteros del arca.

And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Sebanías, Josafat, Natanael, Amasai, Zacarías, Nebaía y Eliezer, los sacerdotes, tocarían las trompetas ante el arca de Dios. Obed Edom y Jehías eran guardianes del arca.

Y Sebanías, Josaphat, Nathanael, Amasai, Zachârías, Benaías, y Eliezer, sacerdotes, tocaban las trompetas delante del arca de Dios: Obed-edom y Jehías eran también porteros del arca.

And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Entonces David, los ancianos de Israel y los comandantes sobre miles fueron a sacar el arca del pacto del SEÑOR de la casa de Obed Edom con gozo.

David pues y los ancianos de Israel, y los capitanes de millares, fueron á traer el arca del pacto de Jehová, de casa de Obed-edom, con alegría.

So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obed-edom with joy.

Mientras Dios ayudaba a los levitas que cargaban el arca del pacto del SEÑOR, ellos sacrificaron siete bueyes y siete carneros.

And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

David estaba vestido con una túnica de lino fino, como lo estaban los levitas que cargaban el arca, los cantantes y Quenanías, el líder de la canción, con los cantantes. David estaba usando un efod de lino.

And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

Entonces todo Israel subió el arca del pacto del SEÑOR con gritos de alegría, y con el sonido de cuernos, con címbalos y con intrumentos de cuerdas y arpas.

De esta manera llevaba todo Israel el arca del pacto de Jehová, con júbilo y sonido de bocinas, y trompetas, y címbalos, y al son de salterios y arpas.

Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.
