Egli si fabbricò delle case nella città di David, ed edificò un luogo per l'arca di Dio, e formolle un tabernacolo.

HIZO también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y tendióle una tienda.

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

Allora disse David: Non è lecito, che l'arca di Dio sia portata da altri, che dai Leviti eletti dal Signore a portarla, e ad essere suoi ministri in perpetuo.

Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los Levitas; porque á ellos ha elegido Jehová para que lleven el arca de Jehová, y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

E convocò tutto Israele a Gerusalemme per far portare l'arca di Dio al suo luogo, ch'ei le avea preparato.

Y juntó David á todo Israel en Jerusalem, para que pasasen el arca de Jehová á su lugar, el cual le había él preparado.

E David chiamò a se Sadoc, e Abiathar Sacerdoti, e i Leviti, Uriel, Asaia, Joel, Semeia, Eliei, e Aminadab:

Y llamó David á Sadoc y á Abiathar, sacerdotes, y á los Levitas, Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semeías, Eliel, y Aminadab;

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

E disse loro: Voi, che siete i capi delle famiglie Levitiche, purificatevi insieme co' vostri fratelli, e portate l'arca del Signore Dio d'Israele al luogo preparato per essa;

And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

Affinchè come l'altra volta il Signore ci gastigò, perchè voi non eravate presenti, così non avvenisse ora, se alcuna cosa non permessa si facesse da noi.

Pues por no haberlo hecho así vosotros la primera vez, Jehová nuestro Dios hizo en nosotros rotura, por cuanto no le buscamos según la ordenanza.

For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

For because you didn’t carry it at first, the LORD our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”

Si purificarono adunque i sacerdoti, e i Leviti, per portar l'arca del Signore Dio d'Israele.

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

E con essi i loro fratelli: e nel secondo ordine Zacharia, e Ben, e Jaziel, e Semiramoth, e Jahiel, e Ani, Eliab, e Banaia, e Maasia, e Mathathia, ed Eliphalu, e Macenia, e Obededom, e Jehiel, che erano portinai.

Y con ellos á sus hermanos del segundo orden, á Zachârías, Ben y Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaías, Maasías, y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, y Jehiel, los porteros.

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters.

E i cantori Heman, Asaph, ed Ethan sonavano i cimbali di bronzo.

Así Hemán, Asaph, y Ethán, que eran cantores, sonaban con címbalos de metal.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

E Zacharia, e Oziel, e Semiramoth, e Jahiel, e Ani, ed Eliab, e Maasia, e Banaia cantavano inni misteriosi sui nabli.

Y Zachârías, Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maasías, y Benaías, con salterios sobre Alamoth.

And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

E Mathathia, ed Eliphalu, e Macenia, e Obededom, e Jehiel, e Ozazia cantavano inni di vittoria sulle cetere a otto corde.

Y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Azazías, cantaban con arpas en la octava sobresaliendo.

And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

E Chonenia principe de' Leviti era quello, che presedeva al canto, per dare il tuono: perocché era molto intelligente.

And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
