11Por consiguiente, los atacó en Baal Perasín y los derrotó. Entonces David, lleno de gozo, exclamó: «¡Dios me ha usado para arrasar a mis enemigos, como una fuerte corriente de agua arrastra todo a su paso!». Por este motivo el lugar es conocido como Baal Perasín.

11Subieron pues á Baal-perasim, y allí los hirió David. Dijo luego David: Dios rompió mis enemigos por mi mano, como se rompen las aguas. Por esto llamaron el nombre de aquel lugar Baal-perasim.

11So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

11So they came up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. David said, God has broken my enemies by my hand, like waters breaking out. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
