UND David hielt Rat mit den Obersten der Tausendschaften und der Hundertschaften, mit allen Fürsten.

Und er sprach zu der ganzen Gemeinde Israels: Dünkt es euch gut und gefällt es dem Herrn, unserm Gott, so wollen wir an unsre Brüder, die in allen Gauen Israels zurückgeblieben sind, und ebenso auch an die Priester und Leviten in den Ortschaften der ihnen zugeteilten Weideplätze Botschaft senden, damit sie sich bei uns versammeln;

Y dijo David á todo el congreso de Israel: Si os parece bien y de Jehová nuestro Dios, enviaremos á todas partes á llamar nuestros hermanos que han quedado en todas las tierras de Israel, y á los sacerdotes y Levitas que están con ellos en sus ciudades y ejidos que se junten con nosotros;

And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:

David said to all the assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if it is of the LORD our God, let’s send word everywhere to our brothers who are left in all the land of Israel, with whom the priests and Levites are in their cities that have pasture lands, that they may gather themselves to us.

dann wollen wir die Lade unsres Gottes wieder zu uns holen; denn in den Tagen Sauls haben wir nicht nach ihr gefragt.

Y traigamos el arca de nuestro Dios á nosotros, porque desde el tiempo de Saúl no hemos hecho caso de ella.

And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.

Da sprach sich die ganze Gemeinde dafür aus, dass man also tue; denn der Vorschlag gefiel jedermann wohl.

So versammelte David nun ganz Israel vom Flusse Sihor in Ägypten an bis dahin, wo es nach Hamath geht, um die Lade Gottes von Kirjath-Jearim zu holen.

Entonces juntó David á todo Israel, desde Sihor de Egipto hasta entrar en Hamath, para que trajesen el arca de Dios de Chîriath-jearim.

So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath-jearim.

Dann zog David mit ganz Israel nach Baala, das ist Kirjath-Jearim in Juda, um die Lade Gottes, des Herrn, der auf den Cheruben thront und nach dem sie benannt ist, von dort heraufzuholen.

Y subió David con todo Israel á Baala de Chîriath-jearim, que es en Judá, para pasar de allí el arca de Jehová Dios que habita entre los querubines, sobre la cual su nombre es invocado.

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjath-jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.

Und sie führten die Lade Gottes auf einem neuen Wagen aus dem Hause Abinadabs hinweg, wobei Ussa und Ahjo den Wagen leiteten.

David aber und ganz Israel tanzten vor Gott her mit aller Macht, unter Gesängen und mit Lauten, Harfen und Handpauken, mit Zimbeln und mit Trompeten.

Als sie nun zur Tenne Chidons kamen, streckte Ussa seine Hand aus, die Lade festzuhalten, weil die Rinder umwerfen wollten.

Da entbrannte der Zorn des Herrn wider Ussa, und er schlug ihn, weil er mit der Hand nach der Lade gegriffen hatte, sodass er dort vor Gottes Angesicht starb.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

David aber ward unmutig, dass der Herr an Ussa einen Riss gerissen, und man nannte jenen Ort Perez-Ussa bis auf diesen Tag. (1) d.h. Riss Ussas.

Und David liess die Lade nicht zu sich in die Davidsstadt bringen, sondern liess sie beiseite führen zu dem Hause Obed-Edoms aus Gath.

Y no trajo David el arca á su casa en la ciudad de David, sino llevóla á casa de Obed-edom Getheo.

So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

So verblieb die Lade Gottes drei Monate beim Hause Obed-Edoms in eignem Hause, und der Herr segnete das Haus Obed-Edoms und alles, was er hatte.

Y el arca de Dios estuvo en casa de Obed-edom, en su casa, tres meses: y bendijo Jehová la casa de Obed-edom, y todas las cosas que tenía.

And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that he had.
