1And these are those that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, confederates for the war,
2Who were armed with bows, and could use both the right and the left hand in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow, even of the brethren of Saul out of Benjamin.
3The chiefs were Achiezer, then Joash, the sons of Hashemaab the Gibathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Anthothite,
4And Yishmayah the Gibonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jachaziel, and Jochanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite,
5Eluzai, and Jerimath, and Bealyah, and Shemaryahu, and Shephatyahu, the Chariphite,
6Elkanah, and Yishiyahu, and Azarel, and Joezer, and Jashobam, the Korchites,
7And Joelah, and Zebadyah, the sons of Jerocham of Gedor.
8And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the stronghold in the wilderness mighty men of valor, and men of the army for the war, that could handle shield and lance, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as the roebucks upon the mountains in swiftness.
9Ezer was the chief, Ohadiah the second, Eliab the third,
10Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth.
11Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
12Jochanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
13Jirmiyahu the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.
14These were of the sons of Gad, the chiefs of the army, one of the least could fight with a hundred, and the greatest with a thousand.
15These are those that passed over the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all the men of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.
16And there came some of the children of Benjamin and of Judah as far as the stronghold unto David.
17And David went out to meet them, and commenced and said unto them. If ye be come for peace unto me, to help me, my heart shall be inclined toward you to unite with you; but if it be to betray me to my adversaries while there is no violence in my hands, then may the God of our fathers look on and decide it.
18Then a spirit invested Amassai, the chief of the captains, who said, Thine are we, David, and with thee, O son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to every one that helpeth thee; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and placed them at the head of the troop.
19And some of Menasseh went over to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle; but he helped them not; for upon consultation did the lords of the Philistines send him away, saying, With our heads will he go over to his master Saul.
20As he was going over to Ziklag, there went over to him of Menasseh, Adnach, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillethai, captains of the thousands that belonged to Menasseh.
21And they were those that helped David against the band of Amelekites; for they were all mighty men of valor, and they became officers in the army.
22For all the time, day by day, people used to come to David to help him, until the camp became great, like the camp of God.
23And these are the numbers of the heads of those ready armed for the host that came to David to Hebron, to turn over the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the order of the Lord.
24The children of Judah that bore shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed for the host.
25Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the host, seven thousand and one hundred.
26Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.
27And Jehoyada was the leader of the family of Aaron, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred.
28Also Zadok, a young man, mighty of valor, and his family division twenty and two chiefs.
29And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand; for till that time the greatest part of them had kept the charge of the house of Saul.
30And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valor, men of fame in their family divisions.
31And of the half tribe of Menasseh eighteen thousand, who had been expressed by name, to come to make David king.
32And of the children of Issachar, those who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do,their heads were two hundred; and all their brethren were ready at their order.
33Of Zebulun, such as went forth to the host, arrayed for battle, with all manner of weapons of war, fifty thousand; and these were ready to place themselves in battle array with an undivided heart.
34And of Naphtali one thousand captains, and with them were with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.
35And of the Danites arrayed for battle twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
36And of Asher, such as went forth to the host to put themselves in battle array, forty thousand.
37And from the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, with all manner of weapons of the host for war, one hundred and twenty thousand.
38All these men of war, that placed themselves in battle array, came with an entire heart to Hebron, to make David King over all Israel; and also all the rest of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
39And they were there with David three days eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them.
40And also those that were nigh unto them, as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought in bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, food made of meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep in abundance; for there was joy in Israel.

1ESTOS son los que vinieron á David á Siclag, estando él aún encerrado por causa de Saúl hijo de Cis, y eran de los valientes ayudadores de la guerra.
2Estaban armados de arcos, y usaban de ambas manos en tirar piedras con honda, y saetas con arco. De los hermanos de Saúl de Benjamín:
3El principal Ahiezer, después Joas, hijos de Semaa Gabaathita; y Jeziel, y Pheleth, hijos de Azmaveth, y Beracah, y Jehú Anathothita;
4E Ismaías Gabaonita, valiente entre los treinta, y más que los treinta; y Jeremías, Jahaziel, Joanán, Jozabad Gederathita,
5Eluzai, y Jeremoth, Bealías, Semarías, y Sephatías Haruphita;
6Elcana, é Isías, y Azareel, y Joezer, y Jasobam, de Coré;
7Y Joela, y Zebadías, hijos de Jeroham de Gedor.
8También de los de Gad se huyeron á David, estando en la fortaleza en el desierto, muy valientes hombres de guerra para pelear, dispuestos á hacerlo con escudo y pavés: sus rostros como rostros de leones, y ligeros como las cabras monteses.
9Eser el primero, Obadías el segundo, Eliab el tercero,
10Mismana el cuarto, Jeremías el quinto,
11Attai el sexto, Eliel el séptimo,
12Johanán el octavo, Elzabad el nono,
13Jeremías el décimo, Machbani el undécimo.
14Estos fueron capitanes del ejército de los hijos de Gad. El menor tenía cargo de cien hombres, y el mayor de mil.
15Estos pasaron el Jordán en el mes primero, cuando había salido sobre todas sus riberas; é hicieron huir á todos los de los valles al oriente y al poniente.
16Asimismo algunos de los hijos de Benjamín y de Judá vinieron á David á la fortaleza.
17Y David salió á ellos, y hablóles diciendo: Si habéis venido á mí para paz y para ayudarme, mi corazón será unido con vosotros; mas si para engañarme en pro de mis enemigos, siendo mis manos sin iniquidad, véalo el Dios de nuestros padres, y demándelo.
18Entonces se envistió el espíritu en Amasai, príncipe de treinta, y dijo: Por ti, oh David, y contigo, oh hijo de Isaí. Paz, paz contigo, y paz con tus ayudadores; pues que también tu Dios te ayuda. Y David los recibió, y púsolos entre los capitanes de la cuadrilla.
19También se pasaron á David algunos de Manasés, cuando vino con los Filisteos á la batalla contra Saúl, aunque no les ayudaron; porque los sátrapas de los Filisteos, habido consejo, lo despidieron, diciendo: Con nuestras cabezas se pasará á su señor Saúl.
20Así que viniendo él á Siclag, se pasaron á él de los de Manasés, Adnas, Jozabad, Jediaiel, Michâel, Jozabad, Eliú, y Sillethai, príncipes de millares de los de Manasés.
21Estos ayudaron á David contra aquella compañía; porque todos ellos eran hombres valientes, y fueron capitanes en el ejército.
22Porque entonces todos los días venía ayuda á David, hasta hacerse un grande ejército, como ejército de Dios.
23Y este es el número de los principales que estaban á punto de guerra, y vinieron á David en Hebrón, para traspasarle el reino de Saúl, conforme á la palabra de Jehová:
24De los hijos de Judá que traían escudo y lanza, seis mil y ochocientos, á punto de guerra.
25De los hijos de Simeón, valientes y esforzados hombres para la guerra, siete mil y ciento.
26De los hijos de Leví, cuatro mil y seiscientos;
27Asimismo Joiada, príncipe de los del linaje de Aarón, y con él tres mil y setecientos;
28Y Sadoc, mancebo valiente y esforzado, con veinte y dos de los principales de la casa de su padre.
29De los hijos de Benjamín hermanos de Saúl, tres mil; porque aun en aquel tiempo muchos de ellos tenían la parte de la casa de Saúl.
30Y de los hijos de Ephraim, veinte mil y ochocientos, muy valientes, varones ilustres en las casas de sus padres.
31De la media tribu de Manasés, diez y ocho mil, los cuales fueron tomados por lista para venir á poner á David por rey.
32Y de los hijos de Issachâr, doscientos principales, entendidos en los tiempos, y que sabían lo que Israel debía hacer, cuyo dicho seguían todos sus hermanos.
33Y de Zabulón cincuenta mil, que salían á campaña á punto de guerra, con todas armas de guerra, dispuestos á pelear sin doblez de corazón.
34Y de Nephtalí mil capitanes, y con ellos treinta y siete mil con escudo y lanza.
35De los de Dan, dispuestos á pelear, veinte y ocho mil y seiscientos.
36Y de Aser, á punto de guerra y aparejados á pelear, cuarenta mil.
37Y de la otra parte del Jordán, de los Rubenitas y de los de Gad y de la media tribu de Manasés, ciento y veinte mil con toda suerte de armas de guerra.
38Todos estos hombres de guerra, dispuestos para guerrear, vinieron con corazón perfecto á Hebrón, para poner á David por rey sobre todo Israel; asimismo todos los demás de Israel estaban de un mismo ánimo para poner á David por rey.
39Y estuvieron allí con David tres días comiendo y bebiendo, porque sus hermanos habían prevenido para ellos.
40Y también los que les eran vecinos, hasta Issachâr y Zabulón y Nephtalí, trajeron pan en asnos, y camellos, y mulos, y bueyes; y provisión de harina, masas de higos, y pasas, vino y aceite, bueyes y ovejas en abundancia, porque en Israel había alegría.

19And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.
20As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
21And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
22For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.
23And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.
24The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war.
25Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.

1Now these are those who came to David to Ziklag while he was a fugitive from Saul the son of Kish. They were among the mighty men, his helpers in war.
2They were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in slinging stones and in shooting arrows from the bow. They were of Saul’s relatives of the tribe of Benjamin.
3The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; Jeziel and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; Beracah; Jehu the Anathothite;
4Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty and a leader of the thirty; Jeremiah; Jahaziel; Johanan; Jozabad the Gederathite;
5Eluzai; Jerimoth; Bealiah; Shemariah; Shephatiah the Haruphite;
6Elkanah, Isshiah, Azarel, Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites;

20As he went to Ziklag, some from Manasseh joined him: Adnah, Jozabad, Jediael, Michael, Jozabad, Elihu, and Zillethai, captains of thousands who were of Manasseh.
21They helped David against the band of raiders, for they were all mighty men of valor and were captains in the army.
22For from day to day men came to David to help him, until there was a great army, like God’s army.
23These are the numbers of the heads of those who were armed for war, who came to David to Hebron to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the LORD’s word.

31Of the half-tribe of Manasseh: eighteen thousand, who were mentioned by name, to come and make David king.
32Of the children of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their heads were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their command.
33Of Zebulun, such as were able to go out in the army, who could set the battle in array with all kinds of instruments of war: fifty thousand who could command and were not of double heart.
34Of Naphtali: one thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty-seven thousand.
35Of the Danites who could set the battle in array: twenty-eight thousand six hundred.
36Of Asher, such as were able to go out in the army, who could set the battle in array: forty thousand.
37On the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, the Gadites, and of the half-tribe of Manasseh, with all kinds of instruments of war for the battle: one hundred twenty thousand.
38All these were men of war who could order the battle array, and came with a perfect heart to Hebron to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
39They were there with David three days, eating and drinking; for their brothers had supplied provisions for them.
40Moreover those who were near to them, as far as Issachar, Zebulun, and Naphtali, brought bread on donkeys, on camels, on mules, and on oxen: supplies of flour, cakes of figs, clusters of raisins, wine, oil, cattle, and sheep in abundance; for there was joy in Israel.
