19Il y eut aussi des hommes de Manassé qui passèrent à David, lorsqu'il marcha avec les Philistins pour faire la guerre à Saül ; toutefois ils ne leur furent pas en aide, car les princes des Philistins, après s'être consultés, renvoyèrent David en disant : Il passerait du côté de son maître Saül, au prix de nos têtes.

19También se pasaron á David algunos de Manasés, cuando vino con los Filisteos á la batalla contra Saúl, aunque no les ayudaron; porque los sátrapas de los Filisteos, habido consejo, lo despidieron, diciendo: Con nuestras cabezas se pasará á su señor Saúl.

19And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.

19Some of Manasseh also joined David when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle, but they didn’t help them, for the lords of the Philistines sent him away after consultation, saying, “He will desert to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.”
